You really get what you paid for. Positive: I liked the location, it has grocery stores and pharmacies within walking distance. It was easy to take public transportation. It was a quiet place, even though it was on a very busy avenue. Negative: The apartment was old, not very clean, and many items were either broken or missing. The bathroom was extremely small: I'm 1.50 m, and the shower space was just right for me, the sink was the size of my hand, and every time we used it, water splashed everywhere. The wifi was really weak and kept disconnecting (if you're traveling for work and the internet is relevant to you, consider it). Two major things were not mentioned in the listing, and probably I would not have stayed here if I knew: 1) The pool is shared with 4 other units. We travelled with our toddler and were hoping to enjoy the pool with her, but the first day, there were a group of guests who were smoking and making a mess in the pool area, so consider that if privacy is important for you. 2) The huge staircase to get into the apartment. There are a lot of stairs, so if you have mobility issues or plan to travel with a lot of luggage, this may not be the best place for you. I saw another comment about this when I was booking but the pictures of stairs showed such a small staircase that I thought the person was overreacting. No, they were definetly not overreacting. You really get what you paid for. It was cheaper than other properties in Hamilton, so the quality wasn't super great.

Positive: Very big and spacious. Place is done up very nice. Clean. There's snacks. The host is veey nice
